United For ALICE helps communities understand how many working families are struggling to afford basic needs. ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed people who have jobs but still don’t earn enough to pay for everyday essentials like housing, childcare, food, transportation, healthcare, and internet.
